Recreation of Pepper’s Ghost , a 19th century ‘hologram’ illusion. A box (46W x 56D x 34H cm) is lined with woodcut prints to create a gallery space; miniatures of other prints and the chair model are ‘offstage’ and gradually lit by LEDs controlled by a microprocessor; as they are lit they ‘appear’ in the gallery space; the video is through the viewing slot.
